This pink tax thing is kind of crazy.

Haven’t heard of it? It’s the label given to the idea that women essentially pay more for some products than men. Seven percent more on average, in fact.

Some say the pink tax is a myth, though studies show women face higher prices on jeans, deodorants, razors and other things. And we wouldn’t notice because they are separated in the aisles.

In fact, New York Times wrote an editorial encouraging women to shop where the men’s stuff is to save a couple of bucks.

More than 50 percent of women in the U.S. use at least one higher-priced product a day, while more than 50 percent of men don’t use anything.

Ladies — let’s take the advice and move to the other aisle. Here are some items that cost less for men (perhaps we go get these and bundle them up as gifts for Valentine’s Day?)

are commonly used items in a home. Typically a man’s brand is a dollar cheaper for both than a woman’s brand. Here is a great shaving and manicure set.

Kiehl’s makes a caffeinated eye cream especially for men. And coming in at $22.50 for half-an-ounce it is $14 cheaper than the women’s version.

It might sound like an odd beauty gift for your man. But these Danny’s padded socks will make your man’s feet nice and smooth. And there is nothing to do, just wear them. They are guaranteed to cure dry cracked heals in 7 days with the built in herbal moisturizer recipe.
Be sure to buy two of everything on this list — one for him, and one for you. It’ll save you in the long-run.
